  4. Areas of drywall with mold inside should be removed and replaced.
  5. Soap and water combined with a hard bristle brush should effectively remove mold from hard surfaces. Vinegar can also be effective and help to prevent re-growth.
  6. Tiles and carpet that have mold growing should be replaced.
  7. Dry any areas that become water-damages as fast as possible to prevent the growth of mold and therefore the occurrence of mold symptoms.
  8. Air conditioners and dehumidifiers can help to remove moisture from the air.
