Efficiently Remove Warts

It is important for people to remove warts in a timely fashion in order to prevent the formation of more warts, the spreading of warts, and the development of complications.

While warts are not always painful, many people find them irritating and embarrassing. The location of a big wart on a hand, foot, or any other visible place can make a person feel self conscious about being around others. Individuals are often willing to try a variety of methods to remove warts because some of them can be especially difficult to treat. With no guaranteed cure, common warts can be very frustrating.

Home Treatments

There are home remedies for almost every ailment known to man. With this in mind, there are a large number of methods to remove warts. It is important to remember that because everyone is different, one person’s warts may not react the same way to treatment as someone else’s warts. Feel free to use whatever works best for you:

  • Leave it alone – Do not pick at the wart throughout the day because it will create irritation, delay healing, and lead to spreading.

  • Vitamin C and vitamin E – You can make a thick paste from a vitamin C tablet and water or use the oil from a vitamin E to cover your warts. Place a bandage over the area and remove at night so the area can breathe. Repeat 2-3 times a day.

  • Baking powder – Mix the powder with some castor oil in order to create a paste. Place over the wart and cover. Remove the bandage at night and repeat the process in the morning.

  • Hot water- Make sure the temperature of the water will not cause burns. Soak the wart for up to fifteen minutes and then use a pumice stone to rub off the dead skin.

  • Salicylic acid – Soak the area for at least five minutes before applying a layer of acid to the area. At the end of the day, use a pumice stone to file off the dead skin. Repeat this process every couple of days.

  • Tree oil – This oil should be used for about three weeks in order to remove warts. Simply place some on the area and cover.
