Cleanse your body with the lemonade diet

The lemonade diet is best used combined with the master cleanse and you are limited to only drinking lemonade, therefore benefiting from the nutrients and energy provided by the fresh lemon juice, maple syrup and cayenne. Other sections of the master cleanse include the salt water flush, the ease out and post cleanse habits but here we will focus on the lemonade diet part of the cleanse. The lemonade diet is recommended for a period of 10 days although some people like to do it for longer and it can be safe to do so for up to a few weeks. It is sometimes referred to as a fast, however this is an inaccurate description as you are consuming nutrition. The proper name for this kind of diet is a liquid mono-diet referring to the fact that you consume the same one thing throughout the entire diet. It is a very popular diet as it one of the most simple, inexpensive and affective methods around. Throughout the diet, the only thing you will be consuming is homemade lemonade. It is important that you make the lemonade fresh each morning or even better, if time allows make the mixture immediately before each time you are going to drink it as the energy and nutrients will be most beneficial the fresher it is. In order to make the lemonade you will require the following:

  • Fresh lemon juice from half of a lemon (2 tablespoons)

  • Rich maple syrup (2 tablespoons)

  • Cayenne pepper (1/10 of a teaspoon)

  • Pure water, preferably alkaline water (1-2 cups)

  • 1 large mixing cup

  • Cutting board

  • Sharp Knife

  • Juicer (hand or powered)

Whenever you are juicing a lemon, it helps to roll it around on the chopping board for a few seconds as this encourages the juices. Squeeze 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and then pour it into the mixing cup. Add the maple syrup and cayenne pepper and mix thoroughly. For it to be most effective, drink immediately. During the lemonade diet continue to drink plenty of pure water. It is recommended to chase each glass of lemonade with a glass of water. You can drink more water throughout the day but don’t drink more than double the amount of lemonade. Drinking water will help with the cleansing to wash out toxins being released by the body and will also prevent dehydration and feeling of hunger. Cleansing can help your health in a number of ways. Many people experience an increase in energy levels, improved skin and hair condition and a loss of weight. It can also alleviate allergies, balance the body’s PH levels, flush the colon and rid the body of parasites. The kind of effects the may be experienced varies from individual to individual as everyone is dealing with different environments and forms and levels of stress but the lemonade diet is sure to have positive effects on your health in some way.
